Fuel Systems
Fuel storage, transfer, filtration, monitoring and control for generator installations — engineered as one system with the generators it serves.
Typical situations
- A generator day tank must be refilled automatically from bulk storage.
- Fuel level, leak or pump alarms are needed at a control room or generator panel.
- Additional generators require changes to an existing fuel system.
- Fuel quality or filtration problems are affecting generator reliability.
What we do
- Storage: supply and installation of bulk tanks and day tanks.
- Transfer: duty/standby transfer pumps and piping between storage and generators.
- Conditioning: fuel filtration.
- Monitoring: level instrumentation, leak detection and alarms.
- Control: automatic transfer-pump control and signals to generator or site control panels.
Confirmed after survey or agreed separately
- Containment, ventilation, fire-safety systems and civil works are coordinated with the site's designers and the relevant authorities; our responsibility for each is defined per project.
- Regulatory approvals depend on the site and authority. We clarify roles during survey and do not certify compliance on the owner's behalf.
- Tank sizes, materials and instrument types are selected after survey.
Engineering interfaces
- Generator fuel connections and day tanks
- Generator and site control panels
- Building management or SCADA signals, where required
- Civil, containment and fire-safety works by others
Typical deliverables, as agreed
- System layout or schematic, as agreed
- Instrument and alarm list
- Functional test record
- Handover information for operation and maintenance
Frequently asked questions
Can you add level monitoring to an existing tank?
Often, yes. It depends on the tank construction, access, the sensor type and what signals the site needs. We confirm after a survey.
Do you design the whole fuel system?
We can engineer storage, transfer, monitoring and control for the agreed scope. Where civil, structural or fire-safety design is needed, we coordinate with the responsible designers.
